Bundle @ Kennispark

How do we offer young people at the start of their careers an interesting place in Enschede, so that they settle here permanently? Around this central question, Veste Wonen and Domijn are joining forces to provide suitable living spaces for young talent in Enschede. With Bundle, we are developing living communities where young people live, work, and meet each other. Bundle offers new, interesting opportunities to a group that is affected by the housing market shortage. Our collaboration also contributes to Enschede's ambition to attract more talent to the city.

Bundle will soon offer various living communities that meet the needs of young people. We are developing the new living concept for and with the target group. The first living community was completed in 2024: the living community at the Performance Factory in the heart of Enschede.

But it doesn't stop there. In the coming years, Bundle will develop living communities in various locations in the city. The character and target group of the community differ per location. But the common thread is always young, ambitious people at the beginning of their careers. They want a place for themselves, but also consciously choose to live, work, and meet each other actively in the community.

The newest community will be realized at Kennispark, opposite the University of Twente in Enschede. Behind the scenes, hard work has been going on for a long time on this development. A tender has taken place, and the plan of De Groot Vroomshoop emerged as the best. The wooden residential building is designed by SeARCH and offers a sustainable, inspiring place for students in the final phase of their studies, recent graduates, researchers, entrepreneurs, and workers at Kennispark. People who bring Kennispark to life together.

The living program consists of:

• 12 studios of 29 m²
• 149 studios of 40 m²
• 22 studios of 45 m²
• commercial spaces & community areas

The permit has been submitted, and if everything goes well, construction will start in October 2025. The completion is expected in early 2027. In the first half of 2026, the recruitment for residents of the living community at Kennispark will start.
